Maddestudios™ (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the TooManyBirds.com website (the “Service”, “Services”), as well as the Too Many Birds!™ Game for Android™ (the “Game”, “App”, “Application”).
This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information when you use our Service(s).
We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
We use your Personal Information for providing and improving the Service(s). By using the Service(s) you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, accessible at TERMS & CONDITIONS
Information Collection And Use
While using our Service(s), we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to, your email address, name (“Personal Information”).
We collect this information for the purpose of providing the Service(s), identifying and communicating with you, responding to your requests/inquiries, servicing your purchase orders, and improving our services.
Log Data
We collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Service (“Log Data”). This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service(s) that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics.
In addition, we may use third party services such as Google Analytics that collect, monitor and analyze this type of information in order to increase our Service’s functionality. These third party service providers have their own privacy policies addressing how they use such information.
Cookies
Cookies are files with a small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a web site and transferred to your device. We use cookies to collect information in order to improve our services for you.
You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. The Help feature on most browsers provide information on how to accept cookies, disable cookies or to notify you when receiving a new cookie.

Behavioral Remarketing
Maddestudios™ uses remarketing services to advertise on third party web sites to you after you visited our Service(s). We, and our third party vendors, use cookies to inform, optimize and serve ads based on your past visits to our Service(s).
Google AdWords remarketing service is provided by Google Inc.
You can opt-out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising and customize the Google Display Network ads by visiting the Google Ads Settings page: http://www.google.com/settings/ads

Do Not Track Disclosure
We support Do Not Track (“DNT”). Do Not Track is a preference you can set in your web browser to inform websites that you do not want to be tracked.
You can enable or disable Do Not Track by visiting the Preferences or Settings page of your web browser.
Service Providers
We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service(s), to provide the Service(s) on our behalf, to perform Service-related services and/or to assist us in analyzing how our Service(s) is/are used.
These third parties have access to your Personal Information only to perform specific tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use your information for any other purpose.
Communications
We may use your Personal Information to contact you with newsletters, marketing or promotional materials and other information that may be of interest to you. You may opt out of receiving any, or all, of these communications from us by following the unsubscribe link or instructions provided in any email we send.

We will disclose your Personal Information where required to do so by law or subpoena or if we believe that such action is necessary to comply with the law and the reasonable requests of law enforcement or to protect the security or integrity of our Service(s).
Security
The security of your Personal Information is important to us, and we strive to implement and maintain reasonable, commercially acceptable security procedures and practices appropriate to the nature of the information we store, in order to protect it from unauthorized access, destruction, use, modification, or disclosure.
However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and we are unable to guarantee the absolute security of the Personal Information we have collected from you.
International Transfer
Your information, including Personal Information, may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction.
If you are located outside Spain and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the information, including Personal Information, to Spain and process it there.

Links To Other Sites
Our Service(s) may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third party link, you will be directed to that third party’s site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit.
We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party sites or services.
Cloud Data
The App includes cloud saving functionality that that involves uploading data (which may include audio recordings) to Google Drive™ so you may have a consistent experience across devices. It is important that we state that we have no access or control over the data sent or downloaded from outside of the App.
Push Notifications
The App has the ability to recieve Push Notifications. These may either be sent from the App itself to act as reminders, or from messages sent via FireBase™ Cloud Messaging. This means the App mat use information such as App version, language or unique FCM ID in order to serve only messages relevant to the user.
Push Notifications were temporarily disabled from May 28th, 2018. They have been re-enabled in the 2019 Premium update (August 10th).
Audio Recordings
The App features audio recording and playback functionality. This data is stored locally on your device to allow playback between sessions. We do not use this data for any purposes other than playback. We do not store this data outside of your devices or share it with any other parties. This data is modified during the recording process, so no originals exist.
Loyalty Coupons
The 2019 Premium Update (August 10th) includes the App “Too Many Birds™” becoming a paid-for app, with a limited free version. However, players with save data created before the 2019 update was released are provided with the opportunity to claim a loyalty coupon for the full version of the game for free, as a thank you.
This involves a system which send us your a temporary Oauth token, which we use to check your user ID, in order to provide you with a coupon code. We do not store this ID – only a hash of it, so we don’t give out multiple codes to the same account, but we cannot personally identify anybody with this. The coupon system will request your consent to send us this ID before providing you with your code anyway.
These coupon codes are usable only on Google Play™
As of August 2021, the Coupon Service was discontinued and associated information was deleted from our servers. Thank you to all the early players for claiming the full game!
Bug Reports
As of the October 2019 Update, the Too Many Birds! Game has a built-in bug and crash reporter to make it easier to fix problems with the game. There are a few options you may need to take note of though!
- A checkbox: Include Crash Log?
- By default, the bug reporter will include details of a crash. This will never include any personally identifying information, and just includes some extra info to make it easier to track down and fix bugs. It is recommended to always leave this enabled.
- A multiple choice: “Do Not Include Save Data“, “Include Save Data“, “Include Save Data and Recordings”
- This option helps you to choose whether to include save data. If you choose “Do Not Include Save Data”, no data will be sent.
- If you choose “Include Save Data” (the recommended default), a copy of your save data (for the current profile) will be sent alongside the report, making it easier to reproduce and fix problems caused by corrupted save data – No personally identifying information is included with this option.
- “Include Save Data and Recordings” includes the data mentioned above, but also includes any voice recordings you have made in the game. This information is potentially identifying, depending on what you record. It is recommended NOT to use this option, unless you are having problems you think are related to recordings or talking birds. It can also take a while to upload reports, as recordings are not small files.
- NOTE: Save Data is automatically not included for the following report types: Suggestion, Text/Translation Error, Accessibility Issue, as it is not normally needed.
How do I use this information? To keep things simple, basically, all the information in your report is collected up, and emailed to one individual – me! The programmer!
I then use this information/feedback to work out a solution. Once a solution or fix has been made and confirmed, I delete the data, to clean up my email and storage and take note of it in my workbook. I will never share this information with third-parties.
If you have a bug you would like to report, but cannot access the in-game bug reporter, please send an email to [email protected], and I’ll see what I can do!
Note that you can email [email protected] to request deletion of a report if you are worried it contains personal data. Do be aware that because I don’t record any personally identifying information within the reports, it would be difficult to find your bug report to delete it, though I will try
Children’s Privacy
Only persons age 13 or older have permission to access our Service(s). Our Service(s) do not address anyone under the age of 13 (“Children”).
We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you learn that your Children have provided us with Personal Information, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Information from a children under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.
Changes To This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy is effective as of October 23rd 2017 and will remain in effect except with respect to any changes in its provisions in the future, which will be in effect immediately after being posted on this page.
We reserve the right to update or change our Privacy Policy at any time and you should check this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the Service(s) after we post any modifications to the Privacy Policy on this page will constitute your acknowledgment of the modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by the modified Privacy Policy.
If we make any material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you either through the email address you have provided us, or by placing a prominent notice on our website.
